Female Dancehall singjay D'Angel said that it is "strictly politics" why she was not booked for Sumfest this year, while on live radio in Jamaica this morning. She held back nothing even admitting that she felt hurt as it has been two years she she has semingly been locked out, she defieantly quipped that "my catologue of songs are strong and are derseving of being performed on the sumfest." According to her even before she had accomplished all she has now they sue to book her for the show.D'Angel recently copped the 'Singjay of the year' title at the MIA Awards an achievement which she also pointed out.
D'Angel whose real name is Michelle Downer will soon become the ex wife of deejay Beene Man as the two are going through divorce proceedings, the two share a son Marco Dean, and she is also the ex girlfreind of Bounty Killer a love triangle that still stirs up much controversy as both Beenie and Bounty have been in longstanding feuds with each other over the years.
