DELLY Ranx is preparing to shop his fourth studio album, The Next Chapter, with promotional dates in Canada and the United States.
The singer is upbeat about his latest project, an 18-track set he says shows how much he has matured in the music business.
Among the featured songs are the title track, Life After Lifetime, a collaboration with Third World singer Bunny Ruggs; Thunder Roll, which was done with Buju Banton and One A Way Soldier remix with Charlii 2na of Jarassic 5.
"It's a mixture of lovers rock, social commentary and other flavours," Delly Ranx told the Jamaica Observer.
His favourite track on The Next Chapter is Africa Here I Come produced by Rohan 'Jah Snow Cone' Fuller.
Ranx's latest single, Red Bull and Guinness, is a combination with Chino. It has brought him some attention after being sanctioned by none other than sprint superstar Usain Bolt.
In a recent interview, Bolt named Red Bull and Guinness as one of the top three songs on his iPod.
Born Delroy Isaac Foster in Kingston, Delly Ranx has been a fixture on the dancehall scene for almost 20 years. Gal Nuh More Than You, Headache, and Pelpa are some of his popular songs.
