Twins say ... Ninja not bad just ugly

Dancehall duo Twin of Twins are expressing discontent with Ninja Man's recent comments in which he challenged them to defend themselves against males instead of dissing Stacious.

According to member, Curly Locks, there is no credibility for Ninja Man because he is yet to defend himself against Merciless and Bounty Killer.

The Twins were referring to an interview with the veteran deejay that appeared in the last Saturday's STAR in which he pointed out that they were defeated in a lyrical clash with fellow deejay Tony Matterhorn.Ninja is also included in the intro for a song with Stacious where he verbally assaulted the Twins.

But according to the Twins; "Ninja Man really a talk bout lose clash? Him nuh get back him title from Merciless yet. How much time Bounty Killer slaughter him? All young artiste name History Man Kill yuh a Clarendon," Curly Lox said.

The twins also professed that Ninja Man is not the clash artiste who he proclaims himself to be. They claim the veteran only uses image to his advantage.

Bad mind

"Ninja a you a diss comedy, when you whole life a joke? A just because yu ugly mek people believe seh you bad. Low Beenie Man cause nuh body nuh bad mind Shabba like yu. You haven't done quarter of what Beenie Man has done for dancehall. Your only hit song was Free Food Ticket. Nuh you fight Shabba an him overcome you bad mind an guh buss di world an lef yuh a Jamaica a duh one show a year?" Curly Lox further declared.

He further went on to class Ninja as old and miserable and someone who deserves pity.

"We understand Ninja Man's anguish, anybody wudda feel worthless fi get so old and nuh accomplish nothing. So we pity him for having to live in such a 'disillusional' state of mind where he overestimates his significance in the dancehall industry," he continued.

"People are always quick to talk about having respect for elders/veterans, wah should a happen wen veteran diss youth? As for your threats, please remember, ' Yuh old bone can't set," Curly Lox said.

No personal problems

In terms of Stacious, the duo said that they have no personal problems with her and expressed that she should have viewed their counteraction of her song in the same light in which she viewed her song Talk.

"We would like to clarify the fact that we don't have any ill-will towards her as we see her comments as just musical. We have also encouraged her that she should view our comments in the same light when we respond. Our song titled Weh Im Deh, which is a response to "ALL" critics wasn't done exclusively for this individual (Stacious)," he said.

He also refuted Ninja Man's claim that they were belittling female artistes.
"Any woman who wants to succeed will do so in any field, so long as they have the pride and common sense to safeguard their dignity and not fall prey to the short cuts offered by, mostly weak and ignoble men in control. Women with true talent and pride tend to make it despite the corruption; for example Etana, Tanya Stephens, Alaine, Tessanne Chin, and Queen Ifrica, just to name a few," he added.
