Jr Daine records for Washroom Entertainment

Dancehall artiste Jr Daine is celebrating a career accomplishment after recording a single for dancehall producers Washroom Entertainment. According to the former Magnum Kings and Queen of dancehall finalist, things are looking positive.

Jr Daine, brother of recording artiste Tidal, is currently unsigned. However, he celebrates working with top producers just the same.

It's a wining song

"I recorded a song for Washroom Entertainment, Yuh Si Yuh, and it's a wining song. Mi just waah bring a different flavour to the fans because dem sey dem want a girl song and the rhythm kinda have that feeling to," Jr Daine said.

The artiste said since the release of the song, the reception has been positive.

"Mi a get some airplay for it, and people a seh it bad and it's getting good rotation on most of the radio stations so that definitely positive," he said.

Jr Daine has high regard for Washroom Entertainment. He said working with Conroy Forte is a dream come through.

"Working with Washroom is a good look, a long time mi waah duh some work with Conroy. They have a good and different flavour in dancehall so it's a plus for me," Jr Daine said.

The artiste is also expected to perform at In2ition this weekend, alongside soca queen Destra and I-Octane, among others.

"This is like my biggest event since St Mary Wi Come From, so I am going all out, 150 per cent. it is also the first time I am working with Ruff Kutt band, which is one of the biggest bands out of Jamaica. So far, rehearsal is going good and some of the band members have expressed that I am professional," he said.

The deejay is also looking to do some work with DJ Frass in the coming weeks. Yuh Si Yuh can be found on YouTube.com and the artiste also plans to shoot an accompanying music video.
