The launch of the official Reggae and Dancehall Embassies was
announced to the world in mid 2012 on TVJ’s popular morning television show
“Smile Jamaica”, in celebration of Jamaica’s 50th anniversary. They
have already begun making a difference in the lives of many who are utilizing it
as the tool it was developed to be. The Reggae Embassy and Dancehall Embassy,
headquartered in the home of Reggae and Dancehall; Kingston Jamaica, are proud
to announce that they have endorsed five talented individuals whom they are
delighted to present to the world; Cameal Davis, Eldie Anthony,
I-Noble, Lanz 876 and Kiodour.
Endorsed Recording Artists:
The Reggae Embassy is honored to introduce, its three
Jamaican based endorsed recording artists; Cameal Davis, I-Noble
and Eldie Anthony. These talented singers and singjays are fully
utilizing the organization for their career and business advancement so that
their individual career visions can be developed with a customized plan by the
Music Embassies’ team of professionals who are provided for each client. The
artists have been in development for approximately one year as the Reggae
Embassy is preparing for each client’s formal launch. Their individual albums
are all slated to be completed and released in 2013.
Songstress Cameal Davis is the first female winner of
the popular talent show, Digicel Rising Star (which is Jamaica’s equivalent to
American Idol). She, as the others, is fully utilizing the Reggae Embassy to
her benefit and has expressed to her partners at the Reggae Embassy that Reggae
is her first love yet she has a strong passion to voice songs in multiple
genres. Her album entitled, “It’s My Time” is filled with songs by
composers/producers from around the world , such as “Don’t Give Up,” “Wanna
Dance,” and “I Love Ya” which all contain powerful vocals and lyrical content.
I-Noble is the very first endorsed recording artist of
the Reggae Embassy. Also, working on his debut album entitled “Life”, his main
project is his single called “Mama Cry” which is rapidly spreading among music
enthusiasts and persons residing in the inner-cities of Kingston as well as
garrison communities globally who can relate to the tragic true tale being told.
The song was inspired by the deaths of his cousins who fell victim to corrupt
police officers who murdered them in I-Noble’s community of Trenchtown. The
official music video for “Mama Cry” is currently being created by The Reggae
Embassy’s video production team and will be available to the public in the very
near future.
Eldie Anthony, a singer who possesses a soulful well
polished voice is rapidly advancing in the industry. He was mentored by Reggae
legend Beres Hammond for many years and it shows in his vocal delivery. He has
won every talent competition that he has entered including “Morgan Heritage
Talent Search” and “Turbulence’s Talent Search.” His album entitled “Break
Free” will be released in 2013 and includes songs from both local and
international composers and producers such as, “Jah is By My Side,” “I Will Go
On,” “Celebrate Love” and “Singing in the Rain.”
Endorsed Composers/Producers:
The final two endorsed clients to be introduced are,
Kiodour (Reggae Embassy) and Lanz 876 (Dancehall Embassy) whom are
both composers/producers.
Kiodour is an emerging music producer, composer and
engineer with a special focus on Reggae music. In addition to the
aforementioned, he is also a graphic and architectural designer who is
responsible for the look and feel of the majority of the Music Embassies’
graphics.
The Dancehall Embassy recently endorsed music
producer/composer Lanz 876 PKA DJ Lanz, who is known for the production
of Potential Kidd’s 2012 hit single, “Yah Suh Nice.” Lance876 is also
responsible for composing the riddim for “Mama Cry” by I-Noble as well as
many songs for the other endorsed clients such as Eldie Anthony, and
others within other Music Embassies. He was only 17 years old when he got his
first hit song which effectively launched his career.
The Music Embassies have established an Embassy for each
music genre. The Reggae and Dancehall Embassy clients have had the pleasure to
meet and collaborate with other recording artists from other Music Embassies in
the USA such as Ma’Niche of the Pop Music Embassy and Czer of the
Hip-Hop Music Embassy. They were intrigued with Dancehall and eager to work
with their fellow endorsed Embassy mates of the Reggae and Dancehall Embassies.
Ma’Niche recently did a combination with I-Noble on the “Jiggle
For Me Riddim” called “The Way I Move” and they were in fact the first
recording artists to voice on that riddim even prior to I-Octane. Czer
has collaborated with both Eldie Anthony and Cameal Davis on
several tracks with many of his songs composed by Lanz 876.
