Influential gets serious on Suffer

The economic and musical struggles of singjay Influential, are the subject of his new song Suffer, co-produced by Oneil 'Clarkie' Clarke and Duke 'Nicko' Miller for Hitmatic Records/ Silly Walks Productions.

"The song is based on a personal experience. Yes, life is hard and it is also a tough music business that we are in," Influential said.

Born Richard Powell, the 28 year old has been around the music beat for some time. Originally from Manchester, his passion for music developed at a young age as his father played the banjo and guitar professionally.

Influential made his recording debut in 2005 with Drugs and Guns which was produced by Richard Foster (aka Brother Richie) from the Platinum Force label.

Other Influential songs include Road Hog, Cancer, Black Flag, Summary, One to Love You, Love Idiot and Principle.
