Rickey Teetz releases new, hot single

Montego Bay, St James-based reggae dancehall artiste Rickey Teetz, has released a new single called 6:30 Walk, a song which is already generating regular play in the dancehalls from Montego Bay to Kingston.

The single has also spawned a new dance that the ladies are doing in western Jamaica.

"It's a big hit with the ladies and it's not hard to do. It's basically bending over 6:30, holding your hands on your ankle, and then walk with it," Rickey Teetz explained.

There are already advanced plans to shoot a video for this bouncy, new dancehall single.

"I will be going hard with it over the next couple weeks. The video is going to be shot this month, and then September, I am going to pump it up all over the island and the Caribbean," he said.

Rickey Teetz has performed at a number of events over the summer, including Lipgloss and Bliss in western Jamaica.

Rickey Teetz first started getting island-wide recognition with his song Life Goes On, which went number 1 on the CVM hit list for several weeks. A few months ago, he followed that up with an underground hit called Tip Yuh, which generated great radioplay on stations such as Irie FM, Zip FM, Hitz 92, Linkz FM, Fame FM, and more.

The video for Tip Yuh is currently enjoying excellent rotation on CVM, HYPE TV, CVM Plus, and several other stations.
