Although Labor Day weekend is the no work, all rest and play dedicated weekend of the year, there was no rest in sight for the young dancehall star as he took over New York City with several rave performances.
Internationally known for his mega hit and reggae dance craze, "Stookie", QQ has kept his spotlight and his fans entertained with a slew of hits, most recently climbing the itunes single charts with the hit single "One Drop", a Stashment Productions hit single distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital.
QQ officially started his whirlwind weekend with his Friday performance at one of New York's biggest Reggae shows "On Da Reggae Tip". The dancehall start dominated the first half of the sold out venue with fans clamoring for more.
On Sunday, QQ proved that although he might be young in age, he was indeed a veteran of dancehall and reggae when he hit two stages in one night. After a great entertaining interview with Bobby Konders and Jabba of HOT97FM, QQ then headed to the fame Webster Hall for Mister Cee's Sunday Night event. One would might think that after such a busy day an artist might slow down, but quite the contrary, QQ assiduous performance set concert goers in a frenzy as they sang and danced along to old and new hits alike.
The artist then proceeded to give more at BB Kings, the legendary live music venue in New York City located in the heart of Times Square for another smashing performance to patrons high on music and carnival fever.
Albeit the labor day festivities were over, QQ continued his musical journey the following Thursday with a prodigious performance at Plentys Paradise in Brooklyn, and left fans gratified as he rocked the full house crowd and gave a show to be remembered.
QQ is presently putting the finishing touches on his new EP executive produced by music mogul Johnny Wonder.
"One Drop" is available on iTunes. Keep up with QQ on Facebook.com/QQuniverse and Twitter.com/QQworld
