SNOOP Dogg — American hip hop artiste, producer and actor — seems to be embracing the Rastafarian faith and has released a reggae single titled La La La.
The track features Jamaican singer/songwriter Jovi Rockwell.
According to The Guardian website, Snoop Dogg (whose given name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr) is now using the psuedonymn Snoop Lion for his latest project.
The single is part of his Reincarnated album which is due later this year on Vice Records label.
The report stated that the newly Christened reggae artiste tweeted: "Sendin the positive vibes all around!!! Jahh!!! Rastafari!!!" and then a link to his new single, along with a lo-fi video.
Snoop is no strange to the Jamaica and is reported to have been recordings at Geejam Studios in Portland.
According to his SoundCloud page, he is currently based in Kingston, Jamaica.
Snoop's last album, 2011's Doggumentary, featured Gorillaz, R Kelly, Willie Nelson and Kanye West. It debuted at No 44 in the UK.
