In a recent interview with The STAR, the 'Don Gorgon' said, "We a bring back the dancehall vibe, the Killamanjaro, the Scorpio, and wi a look a nex' sound. Wi waah draw Jammys inna it full time or another original rub-a-dub sound cause wi waah bring back the dancehall."
He also spoke of the need for the current crop of entertainers to be in sync with the history of dancehall music and not just the direction that it is being led as a result of technology.
Computer artiste
This, he said, was one of the major reasons for taking on the venture.
"The yute dem fi learn fi ride the rub-a-dub dancehall riddim dem and get more use to what it is fi be a dancehall artiste and not a computer artiste. We a bring back the rub-a-dub dancehall," he said.
Although he was not decided on what the format of the effort would be, Ninja Man shared a general outline.
