Black Mattic releases remix music video

International dancehall deejay Black Mattic has released a remix music video for his single Superstar, in honour of track and field king Usain Bolt.

The video was uploaded to popular website YouTube late Tuesday night and has already received close to a 1,000 views. Several viewers commented on how real the video, which was created by Icey Jace Film Factory's boss Christopher Campbell, appears on the eye.

Campbell, who has also directed music videos such as Warn Dem, Wine And Bubble and Never Give Up Reunion for Black Mattic this summer, took snippets from various images of the legendary Jamaican and merged them with images from the original video, which was directed by MTV Network's producer Mike Leonard.

Bolt, who ran superbly at the recently concluded London Olympics, further cemented his stance as the greatest ever sprinter to walk earth after he capped gold in the 100 and 200m finals, as well as anchoring the Jamaican men's 4x100 relay team to an astonishing world-record run in the final.

Shortly after Bolt's sprinting heroics the deejay, who is also a Jamaican residing in New York, remixed Superstar in his honour. The single, produced by Yo Dash Productions, has been hugely successful in several places like France, Germany, Italy, Albania and China, and is steadily picking up progress in Jamaica.

Black Mattic, in a release, said he's impressed with the creativity that Campbell put into the video and believes that Jamaica will fall in love with it.

"I am really impressed. The video looks real on the eye, you can't make any separation. The public will love it," he said.
