WITH the growing popularity of house music, disc jock Kruddy has recently released his mixtape which he feels is his best work yet.
The 22-track mixtape titled OreoHouse, produced by his independent label Tilt the City Productions, was released on the Internet last Sunday.
"This was a lot of work. I went out of the box for this one; it was even a bigger budget. My mixtapes in the past went 5,000 downloads in one week but I am now anticipating over 15,000 this time around," he told the Jamaica Observer.
The disc jock, whose given name is Joel Harrison, said it was released on social networks sites — Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram and through emails so that everyone would be able to download free of cost.
Kruddy, 22, who is rostered among Renaissance's selectors, expressed confidence that his latest project OreoHouse will surpass the successes of his two previous mixtapes Tilt the City Vol 1 and Poplive.
Kruddy has also done a host of mixes for Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records Restaurant in St Andrew which is played there throughout the day.
He is also working on an upcoming dancehall riddim called Bonded which is co-produced with Phillip Myers from Myaz Music. The riddim features artistes such as Warrior King, Chuck Fender, Voicemail, Wayne Marshall, Machu Ezra, and many more.
