Montego Bay-based deejay Ricky Teetz is motivated by the great response in the streets to his latest music video for his popular single, Life Goes On/Poverty,since it premiered last week.
"The response has been great, the song is like food for the soul to anyone who has had to overcome obstacles andpersonal tragedies to make it in this struggle of life. Ah crazy people come up to me inna the west and say dem love it," Ricky Teetz said in a release.
The new single, Life Goes On (check the official video) is already on regular radio rotation in Jamaica, Switzerland, parts of Africa and Panama. The single was produced by Inspired Music Concepts, while the fast-paced single So Wild produced by Da Wiz Sniper is already generating a big buzz in Montego Bay. The deejay's music is available for sale on iTunes, Amazon, Emusic and Napster worldwide. "The Life Goes On has been picking up since the video drop, crazy people tell me say dem see it on the CVM Hitlist, and dem love the message," he said.
Ricky Teetz' career has been growing from strength to strength, and he is now turning his attention towards promotion in the Caribbean and the USA.
"Ihave just been keeping busy, in the west, I have become a regular performer at the big parties and my songs are on all the hot mixtapes in the west, so the music is leaving Jamaica and getting out there in the world, Barbados, Trinidad, Costa Rica, next year, I am pushing to go to some of these places and keep the thing going," he said.
Teetz is also a well-known party promoter, and entrepreneur who has carved out a reputation for successful events.
