Dancehall artiste Squeeky Plus is clearly on a path to musical success. His journey in the music business has taught him a lot of things that have helped to prepare him for his big break, and he is going all out for it.
In recent times, the hard hitting New York-based deejay has been enjoying much attention with his hot dancehall track called Phat Like Mud Fish. The popularity of the track has made him a favourite of dancehall fans in New York and the Tri-State area.
"Phat Like Mud Fish is creating a big buzz right now. I did a show a few weeks ago with Baby Cham and when I performed the tune it received a huge response from the crowd, the vibe was awesome," said the artiste.
Squeeky and his management team plan to step up promotion of Phat Like Mud Fish in the coming months. Chief among their plans is the release of a supporting music video for the single, which was shot in New York two weeks ago.
Stokely Watson, who is a member of Squeeky's management team, said the video will play a major role in the future promotion of the song and the development of the artiste's career.
"A lot of positive things have been happening for Squeeky's single and this video is going to help to take things to a higher level. It's going to be a great video; we all put a lot of hard work into it. To tell the truth, we are so excited we can't wait to see the final product. As soon as the video is ready we plan to start pushing the song and the video in Jamaica and in other parts of the Caribbean. Those markets are extremely important to us.
The video for Phat Like Mud Fish is scheduled to be released on October 13.
Phat Like Mud Fish is available on all leading Internet music stores, including ITunes, Spotify, Rhapsody and Amazon on Demand.
