To fulfil each need, some people get mislead' are just a few words from the track, 'Pressure', produced by Michael 'Ibo' Cooper.The music industry's bar has been raised, as Stainless Mob is poised to take the music scene by storm. With a slew of songs under their belts, the group is already commanding respect from the entertainment fraternity.
The quartet consists of versatile, energetic and diverse members - Kemar 'Zeeno' McFarlane, Andre' 'Splinta' Facey, Sean 'Sinimax' Maxam and Kedo 'Baak' Witter.
While it appears to be a dancehall group, Stainlesss Mob has dabbled in several genres of music, including Rock, Reggae, R&B and Soca.
When asked about the group's versatility, manager Adrian Campbell quickly noted, "Stainless Mob is quite a versatile group. they are very talented and, also, they write for any genre, which is proposed to them."
However, Stainless Mob's development was born out of true friendship and mutual respect. The first members of the group were Zeeno and Splinta, who were students at Mona High.
As fate would have it, music brought the two friends together in competition, as they had a 'clash' which either of them are yet to admit defeat. Sinimax and Baak, later joined the group which proved a musical odyssey for the quartet.
Making strides in music
Older, wiser and now ready to take on the music world, Stainless Mob is excited about what the future may bring. Nevertheless, the group has performed for a wide cross section of fans at various stints islandwide, receiving rave reviews.
With life comes tragedy, however, when one of the members of the quartet received news of his mother's diagnosis of lupus, also his grandmother's battle with cancer. the four friends were propelled to strengthen their bond and, at the same time, channelled their life experiences, while enlightening others through their music.
The talented yet disciplined group is set to release a mix tape, which boasts 10 tracks including the popular Go, Pressure and Banana Way.
Lead singer Zeeno had a few words for the fans as he urged them to, "listen keenly to the music we write, and as long as you (the fans) continue to support us, and we continue to work with notable producers, we will become one of the giants in the music industry.
