Getting the sound right for In2ition

Tropical Storm Sandy or no, the InTrendsik Promotions team is confirming that the first staging of In2ition is still on at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre in Montego Bay this Saturday.

Montego Bay's first dual stage show event will be no easy feat, according to public relations and marketing director of InTrendsik Promotions, Seretse 'Mikey' Bell. To help, the group has made sure to hire John Swaby to ensure the sound systems are as good as the hype the event has been getting.

"To stage two shows on the same venue is no easy task but it is possible. All it requires is a little more attention to detail and with a professional such as John Swaby, who is an expert in sound system management, we are sure we'll get the job done without confusing our patrons," Bell noted.

On the soca stage patrons will get the chance to see Machel Montano, Destra, Patrice Roberts, Little Rick, Shall Marshal, Farmer Natty and Super Jigga.

The dancehall stage will play host to Lady Saw, Demarco, I-Octane, Konshens, Montego Bay's own Tommy Lee Sparta, Jah Vinci, Qubanis and JR Daine.

"We have been doing sound testing all week to ensure the sounds will not affect either stage while the event is in play. It takes strategic placing of the sound to achieve what we are trying to do, so we just want to encourage patrons to come out and be a part of this historic event in MoBay," said Bell.

"We wanted to bring something different to the staging of this event and we believe patrons will have a wow-experience with what we have planned," he further underscored.

Patrons will have freedom of movement to access and experience both stage shows. Ease of access, and secure parking are among the top priorities for the promotions group.

Presold tickets for regular admission are $5,000 and $5,500 at the gate. VIP presold tickets are for $8,500 and $9,000 at the gate. An ultra VIP will cost patrons $11,500 presold or $13,000 if purchased at the gate. Tickets are available at Paymaster locations islandwide.
