Deejay Xyclone ended 2012 on a high with Back Pocket Rag giving him that elusive first hit.
Xyclone is hoping to duplicate that with the release of Top Shottas Anthem which features Deva Bratt.
Now a resident of Philadelphia, Xyclone is currently in Jamaica to film the video for Top Shottas Anthem.
A protégé of veteran deejay Spragga Benz, the 25-year-old Xyclone secured a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from Medgar Evers College before launching his music career.
His accomplishments include the Everything is Red mix tape and songs like Back It Up produced by Notice Production; I Care Zero produced by Delly Ranx; and It's On with soca artiste Kevin Lyttle, Red Rat and Delly Ranx.
Born Roje R Robinson, Xyclone's father Peter Black was a selector for the Philadelphia Reggae Vibrations sound system. Five years ago, Xyclone linked with Spragga Benz and increased his profile on the Jamaican music scene.
