Dancehall couple Cham and wife O continue to blaze trails after a sizzling performance at Reggae Sumfest. The duo is on a two-week tour of Europe with their dynamic, energetic act.
A veteran on the scene, deejay Cham has been conquering new grounds in the music industry, this time with wife Ophelia 'O' Beckett musically by his side.
Last year, the two released their first collaboration, O's first song, Wine. Wine soon became a club-hopper and chart-climber, which the two followed up with Tun Up.
Since then, the couple has been performing to delighted fans at various events in Jamaica such as Caribbean Fashion Week and the launch of Digcel's 4G plan. None more so than fans the internationally renowned Reggae Sumfest held in Montego Bay.
Reggae Sumfest saw a return performance from Cham, who hasn't graced it stage since 2008. For 'O', it was her first stint on a stage of that calibre. With 'O' at his side, the two gave the crowd a performance many rated as one of the best of dancehall night.
Cham was in top form, performing classics such as Ghetto Story and Vitamin S, before moving on to recent hits such as Backway before inviting 'O' on stage to tease the crowd with her performance.
Conquering Sumfest
After conquering Sumfest, the two headed to Europe with performances in Germany, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Poland, France and Spain.
While Europe has been welcoming Cham for many years, for 'O', this tour is her first on the continent.
Having already completed the first leg of the tour, the couple has already deemed the trip a success.
"This year has really been a journey for me, from Sumfest, which I've been watching Dameon perform on for years, to Europe. The tour has been going really well and I'm so excited to be here," 'O' said.
For Cham, Europe is always a pleasure and he too has been enjoying the performances.
"I always strive to give my best performance at all times, to please the audience and I'm always excited to perform for my European fans. So far, the tour has been going extremely well and they are appreciating seeing 'O' for themselves, and seeing us onstage together."
Outside of performances, Cham has been busy in studio, as well as 'O', who is working on her debut single.
