I Wayne proves relevance

After hiatus from the stage, I Wayne performs brilliantly

With just a few weeks to go before the grand finale of the Behind the Screen series, roots rock reggae artiste I Wayne proved he was more than relevant, as he gave more than the worth of the cover at Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records on Tuesday.

Quenching the musical thirst of the audience, who had not seen him perform in recent times, I Wayne stepped on the stage shouting 'Lightening'.

He wasted no time showcasing his vocal ability, reeling off The Book of Life as he entered the stage.
The seasoned performer continued promoting life, segueing into his anti-abortion single Don't Worry.

With his warm, personable stage presence, 'Fire Wayne' reeled off hits such as Herb fi Legalize, Living in Love, I Need Her in my Arms and Life Seeds.

With his signature shout of 'Ash', I Wayne gave a scintillating performance.

"Some demonic artiste a try lead the people astray," I Wayne shouted to a very receptive audience.
I Wayne also promoted self-love with his song Bleacher, and urged black people to put an end to skin bleaching.

Sliding with apparent ease from track to track, the artiste wasted no time in reigning fire on all 'Babylonian things'.

With a structured set that gradually gained momentum, I Wayne delivered songs from his sophomore, debut and latest albums throughout the show.

Intense collaboration

Veteran artiste Lady G joined I Wayne on stage and, together, they delivered an intense collaboration called Jealousy and Abuse.

With the shout of 'balance' which signalled the musicians to play low so he could speak with the audience, I Wayne continued to 'bun fya' on drug and alcohol abuse.

Fingers passing themselves off as guns greeted I Wayne as he delivered the Lava Ground introduction. The audience could not get enough and the artiste had to 'pull up' the song more than a few times.

Moving on to one of his biggest tunes, I Wayne launched into his monster hit Can't Satisfy Her. After delivering the first few lines, I Wayne left the stage, but was called back by an eager audience. He did not disappoint.
