Prominent record company Typhoon Music Group has released the Sunset Boulevard rhythm, which is a 14-track compilation featuring dancehall
star Demarco and reggae giant Half Pint.
Other notable artistes on the rhythm are dancehall group Voicemail and melodic reggae chanter Chevaughn, along with overseas-based reggae artiste Matik and newcomers Thugsy Malone, Alva and Toi.
The project is being marketed in Jamaica by renowned marketing guru, Contractor.
Typhoon Music Group (TMG) came alive when Damian Ebanks, brainchild and visionary producer and Gregory RA Morris, Grammy Award-winning engineer, met at the Bob Marley Museum studio.
Ebanks, after his training at the Creative Production Training Centre, started the label in 1999 as the duo realised that their passions, creativity, purpose and love for music was a chemistry that they could grow and develope.
Since its inception, the label has released also the Hope rhythm, which featured Richie Spice, Lutan Fyah, Spanner Banner and many more. They have also co-produced Alva's album, I Got Life.
Contractor, who also markets music for Down Sound Records and Sting, said the Sunset Boulevard rhythm will be received by the public as it is very catchy rhythm featuring several top acts.
"The songs are very well put together on the rhythm. I believe people will love this project because it brings great entertainment value," he said.
