Dancehall reggae artiste Khago recently wrapped up the filming of the music video for his hit-bound new single, 'Gal Dem Nuff'.
The track also features St Elizabeth up-and-coming artiste Vigilant, along with overseas-based dancehall entertainer Benji, and was produced by Rhome and Sky Team Records from Khago's Sky Team camp.
The video was shot over a four-day period across locations in St Elizabeth and Westmoreland, including Khago's fitness centre in Junction, Heavy's bar, Bobo's car wash and in Negril - Margaritaville on the beach, West End at the Caves Hotel in addition to a bike show in Savanna-la-Mar.
Gorgeous ladies
The video was shot under the guidance of ace music video director Tin Man. Scenes from the video will see a strong pull of gorgeous women gyrating to well-choreographed and freestyle moves.
There were shots which saw Khago riding high with women on jet skiis and intimate scenes from swimming pools.
"We just finished shooting the video and everyone involved with the project put a lot of work into it. We want this video to be a hit because the song is really getting a lot of love in the streets. It's getting popular because of the support it's getting in the dancehall, and it's generating momentum across Jamaica's local radio stations as well as in the US, Europe and the Caribbean," said an elated Khago.
Vigilant believes Gal Dem Nuff has the potential to be a major hit. Khago reiterated that the song is definitely a good one.
"I always try to do my best to do good music and I am happy the people are taking on to Gal Dem Nuff because it has a very good hook."
"I really hope the video will help to enhance the song because it has the potential to go all the way to the top."
Derven 'Flexx' Pattterson, Khago's publicist, added: "Right now, the video is being edited. I can't wait to see the final cut. As soon as it's ready we are going to release it. We are looking at another week to release it".
In addition, Khago also plans to release other videos for his latest singles, Lick Weh Clean, Hurt Me Bad and Cry Myself To Sleep, soon.
Khago will leave the island shortly for shows in the US, inclusive of Reggae Fest in Connecticut, which also features Lady Saw and Frassman among others. In coming months, fans can see Khago in Canada, Europe and Africa.
