Two of the biggest and most successful world sound systems
will meet in central Jamaica at the second annual Chain Reaction event,
which is set to take place on Saturday.
The event, which
is highly-anticipated, will be held at Stages Car Wash in Christiana,
Manchester, and will feature the very prominent Bass Odyssey and
new-and-improved Black Kat sound systems.
Promoter Julene Broucher, known as Shauna, has assured patrons
that her promotional team is pulling out all the stops to make the event
a most memorable affair for the mere cost of $300. The Manchester-based
promoter said she's ready and can hardly wait for the day of the event.
She was, however, tight-lipped as to whether there will be a
clash between the two sounds renowned over the years for their
entertainment at sound- clash events.
"This one will be better than the last. I am very sure of that. Patrons just come out and enjoy," she said.
There will be special guest appearances from Mandeville's hottest
and newest selectors, Niney Badness and Reptile Bling. However, veteran
selector Pink Panther from Black Kat sound system said he will be at
his usual best and patrons must expect anything.
"From Black Kat and Pink Panther playing anything goes. I can say, though that I will be representing well," he said.
Pink Panther believes that Black Kat's other selectors Fyah
Agent, DJ Steve and Gaga, will combine well with Bass Odyssey's Damion
and Worm in making the event a fantastic experience.
"Imagine an event with the two biggest sound systems worldwide?
It will be a great experience for the patrons. I am sure of that," he
said.
