After being publicly accused of infidelity on social media sites
including Facebook and Twitter, the ex-lover and mother of one of Mr
Vegas' children is now defending her name.
Shellian McBayne, who Vegas claimed cheated on him in front of their one-year-old daughter, has denied these allegations.
In an interview yesterday on the 'Ragashanti Inna The Mawning'
show on Link Up Radio 93.5 FM New York, McBayne publicly declared that
she ended the relationship with Vegas months ago, but that he is now
sporting a bruised ego because she has moved on.
"Him nuh ketch me. A me tell him say me have man. After him throw
me out a di house, him go a di house and see the surveillance camera.
The man (Vegas) bun up all a mi clothes," she emphatically told
Ragashanti.
According to her, the relationship between her and Vegas became
sour after his continued ill-treatment and disrespect. She alleges that
after ending the relationship with the artiste, he emptied the bank
account, but allowed her to continue living in his home.
"Me tell him say mi nuh want him, me have me man and mi put up
pic on mi BlackBerry and me say look how me man cute and pretty, look
pon him pretty eye dem. A dat bun him," she said.
Allegations
She went on to say that allegations that she has not
worked in over four years were incorrect as she and Mr Vegas have a
business together.
While vehemently denying that she cheated on the Bruk It Dung artiste, McBayne did concede that she slept with her new lover in Vegas' Florida home
"The only thing that happen is that me sleep inna him house wid a
man. Is not something that I had planned. Yes, mi wrong fi dat. I am
admitting I was wrong to have sex in his house," she said.
Although admitting to that, she told Ragashanti that she did not have sex in front of her one-year-old
daughter.
"The child was asleep. She wandered into the room and when she
walked into the room mi just draw the cover over miself," she stated.
With Vegas threatening to release the tape of her alleged sexcapade, she is questioning his obsession with the material.
"What kind of man sit down and watch three hours of lovemaking
and a message me a ask if a so long we did a gwaan? The amount a time mi
hear say him watch it. Me glad him feel weh me did a go through fi
seven years, me glad him see it," she said.
Since the incident, McBayne stated that Vegas evicted both her and their daughter from the home.
McBayne went on to say that Vegas is only acting out because his ego has been bruised now that she has moved on.
She also said that public sentiments about the issue will not
affect her. "I do not care what people have to say because I know the
truth and Mr Vegas knows the truth and the people who know me and have
been around me know the truth," she insisted.
While McBayne was interviewed on the Ragashanti show her
ex-lover, Mr Vegas, appeared recently on the Unites States-based Hot 97
station and poured out his heart.
Mr Vegas openly wept during the interview with hosts on the popular station.
The Bruk It Dung artiste told hosts of the radio show that
he was trying to keep strong and continue promoting his album for the
sake of his other children.
"At the end of the day, when you have other kids that look up to
you, I have to still be out here to show the best for my other kids. How
can I be locked up in some dark place and not do this? I'm gonna look
back at this in say five years or less and laugh at the situation," the
teary-eyed artiste said.
Mr Vegas could hardly contain himself as tears flowed down his
cheeks. The artiste said he was prepared to settle down with his now
estranged lover before his world was turned upside down.
The visibly shaken deejay said his home was like a haven for his one-year-old daughter but it was broken.
"I'm not gonna tell you that I'm the best person and that I'm the
most faithful guy or like I've never cheated on a woman before, but if
we're together and I'm staying at your house ... I would never take a
woman to your house, in your bed, in front of your kid," Mr Vegas
lamented.
He also spoke of the possibility of losing his daughter because
of the break-up. "The situation with my daughter is ... I may never see
her again, dread," he said.
