GT's Christmas Extravaganza 'Still Rules'

Despite not having the support of major sponsors this year, GT Taylor is adamant his show must go on and so it will.

The 13th staging of the annual Christmas Extravaganza stage show will take place as usual at Independence Park in Black River, St Elizabeth, on Christmas Day. As expected, the 'Dancehall Master' has assembled a top-class line-up for his stellar event.

Under the theme 'Still Rules', GT has chosen some of Jamaica's top acts to headline the show. Listed among the headliners are Bounty Killer and his ANG group, Sizzla, Beenie Man, Cham, Ninja Man, Aidonia, I-Octane and Khago.

A special segment

This year's event is an official Jamaica 50 event and will feature a special segment showcasing artistes have played a key role in the development of popular Jamaican music over the last four decades.

Drafted for this segment are John Holt, Yellow Man, Johnny P and George Nooks.

The line-up will also feature the likes of Romaine Virgo, KipRich, Lady G, Macka Diamond, Pamputae, Lutan Fyah, Chuck Fenda, Anthony Cruz, Timmi Burrell, Live Wyha, Stacious, Tiana, Mikeylous, Villa Dutch, Inoah, Hitman Wally, Brimstone and Alva.

GT Taylor said nothing will stop him from delivering a good show for the people of St Elizabeth and surrounding areas.

"Nothing can stop Christmas Extravaganza from delivering a good show for the fans this year. Over the years, the show has grown to become an event of choice for people in St Elizabeth and surrounding parishes.

The show has also attracted hundreds of patrons from other parts of the island and we cannot afford to let them down.

Although we don't have any major sponsors this year, we are still going to give our loyal supporters a very good production and show everybody that GT's Christmas Extravaganza still rules," said GT Taylor.
